Elevation to the Order of the Pelican

Page history last edited by Dan Towse 14 years, 4 months ago

I wrote this a bit in the dark, as I wasn't told it was for me.

I am greatly indebted to Sarah Uckleman (Aryanwhy ferch Catmmael) for her latin translation work.

The (insert name here) text and stage direction was tweaked by My Lady Genevieve la Flechiere on the day to fit my inclination to be invested as bishop.

The actual wording and execution differed a little from this, as is to be expected in a piece of unrehearsed theatre. My Thanks to Garrick von Kopke for expertly heralding and stagemanaging the ceremony with Style and Competence.

Herald: Their Majesties summon the Peers of the Pelican Order

Pelicans assemble and face the audience in two rows to either side of the thrones.
