Page history last edited by Dan Towse 7 years ago

Someone did good on the internet, so I sent them gifts via their Barony.

Right Noble and Worthy Cousins Mille-Yeux I greet you all times well and trust your Crown has you in their good keeping. As touching matters on your subject Etienne de Valois I pray you will, for me, press upon him certain items given in favour and in gratitude for his good works in demonstrating the way of thrifty and yet noble display, Viz. The Impoverished Peacock.
Service of this sort is its own reward, yet it is the duty of Peers, and too the privilege of all, to reward good works, each according to their means and abilities.
So do I, Robert de Canterbury, 4th and 14th Viscount Insulae Draconis, Master of the Order of the Pelican, Companion of the Dragons bowl and of Divers other orders, Give Praise and acclaim to the Said Etienne, and bestow upon him these trifles of my own making, to do with as he will.
item: A Dauphin of 15th C french nature    - j
item: a small brooch of a many coloured bird, in the Visigothic fashion  - j

item: danish mounts, j coloured and iij plain, in total  - iiij

this done I wish You and Your Fief all good fortune and prosperity as may be had on this good earth and at all future time thy Couz Robert
